Dear Friends and Colleagues,

From July 16th to the 19th, TRIUMF will celebrate 50 years of science, discovery, and innovation at Science Week 2018. This week highlights TRIUMF’s many achievements as Canada’s particle accelerator centre, and looks at the current and future projects that promise decades more science to come.

I want to personally invite you to Science Week 2018, and extend a special invitation to our 50th Anniversary Science Symposium: a day of talks and discussions dedicated to TRIUMF’s decades of scientific excellence – from our founding and the construction of the cyclotron, to our current work on ARIEL and the potential that this new facility will unlock for the lab.

The symposium will conclude with a special VIP panel discussion on TRIUMF’s contributions and impact over the past 50 years, followed by a reception.

Registration for Science Week is now open. For more information about Science Week and to view a schedule of talks, please visit the Science Week 2018 website.

I hope to see you at Science Week 2018 as we celebrate 50 years of science at TRIUMF, and look ahead to more decades of discovery.
