Mini-PET Beamline

The D-Pace Mini-PET Beamline provides a compact upgrade path for PET isotope production facilities seeking improved beam control, reduced activation, and simplified shielding. The system is a short, lightweight, low-activation beamline designed to improve beam transport and management at the target, helping increase production efficiency while moving the target away from the cyclotron.

By shifting the target downstream, the Mini-PET Beamline allows local shielding to be used to reduce residual radiation near the accelerator. The system combines a short, purpose-designed beam tube with an integrated compound quadrupole doublet and steering magnet, providing both beam focusing and steering in a compact package. With no dedicated support structure required, it simplifies upgrades from older systems with directly mounted targets while minimizing installation complexity.
