Dr. Thomas (Tom) Ruth is a member of D‑Pace’s Global Advisory Network and an internationally recognized leader in radioisotope production and nuclear medicine.
He is an Emeritus Senior Research Scientist at TRIUMF and the BC Cancer Research Centre, with decades of scientific leadership in accelerator-based isotope production across medical, research, and industrial applications. His work has had a significant impact on advancing the availability and application of critical medical isotopes worldwide.
Dr. Ruth has been a long-standing advisor to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and has contributed to major U.S. National Academy and Institute of Medicine studies on isotope production and nuclear medicine policy.
He is the author of more than 300 publications and has received numerous top honors, including the Michael J. Welch Award, the NSERC Brockhouse Award, and election as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
