Kathryn Hayashi is a member of D‑Pace’s Global Advisory Network and a seasoned board director and senior advisor with more than 20 years of experience in life sciences, nuclear medicine, and deep‑tech commercialization.
She is the former President and CEO of TRIUMF Innovations, where she led commercialization strategy, partnerships, and governance for technologies emerging from Canada’s national particle accelerator center. Her leadership played a key role in advancing the translation of scientific innovation into real-world impact.
Kathryn currently serves as Interim CEO and Board Director at QAI. She is also the founding CFO of the Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD) and a co-lead of the Canadian Medical Isotope Ecosystem, supporting national collaboration and public–private initiatives in the life sciences sector.
She brings deep expertise in strategy, risk management, capital allocation, and commercialization within complex, regulated, and capital-intensive environments.
