Dr. Morgan Dehnel is the original Founder of D‑Pace and now a member of the company’s Global Advisory Network, bringing over 30 years of leadership in accelerator physics, ion source technology, and commercialization.

He founded D‑Pace in 1995 and has played a central role in advancing ion source technologies from research to real-world applications. Morgan holds a PhD in Accelerator Physics from TRIUMF/UBC.

An active academic and international collaborator, Morgan is an Adjunct Professor at UBC Okanagan, the University of Victoria, and the University of Saskatchewan. He has successfully licensed and commercialized technologies from TRIUMF and other leading institutions.

Morgan is widely recognized as a Canadian innovation leader, including as a recipient of the NSERC Synergy Award. He is also the founder of Accel‑Link Ltd. (2023), focused on advancing collaborative R&D and technology entrepreneurship, and currently serves as the Selkirk Ion Source Research Chair.
