D-Pace Sponsors NIBS 2022 Awards
D-Pace is proud to offer our congratulations to the Negative Ion Beams and Sources (NIBS) award winners of 2022! The award winners were chosen by the NIBS International Programme Committee (IPC) for their outstanding contributions to the fields of physics, theory, technology, and/or applications of sources, low energy beam transport, or diagnostics of negative ions.
Representing a collaboration of two groups, these scientists have won the NIBS award for developing reliable external antenna RF-driven H- sources at CERN and CSNS. Dr. Weidong Chen and Dr. Hui Li from the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China, win the award together with Dr. Jacques Lettry and Dr. Anna Vnuchenko from Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire (CERN), Switzerland.
D-Pace is proud to sponsor the $5,000 USD award, and thanks the committee for judging the award nomination submissions. Special thanks goes to Dr. Dan Faircloth (STFC UKRI) for administering the award.
